Testimonials

“Besides that all the instructors are great on The MOB, I’m enjoying the easiness of just taking 1/2 hr from work and jumping into exercise. After this 1/2 hr, both my body and my mind feel so much better to continue with the day.

I also look forward to signing up to the different workshops they started to offer…. Always something new & I love it.

“I was thrilled with Alia’s decision to create The MOB. All the amazing professionals share her holistic way of approaching movement, balance and strength. Even though I considered myself active and quite mobile, The MOB program has taken me to a different level. Each one of the coaches , using their unique skillsets, has helped me get stronger, more flexible and be more confident in my daily activities. I love the fact that the class sizes are small and the coaches pay individual attention to what my personal needs. They suggest modifications to the exercises to fit my own abilities or to work around my injuries. Also the fact that there is more than one class each day, gives me more flexibility in choosing which class I am able to attend that day. I have to say that after attending for a while you feel a kind of camaraderie with the group and the coaches. With time they become your workout community. We are all trying to better ourselves, each according to his/her own ability, with absolutely no judgment from anyone.

"The MOB and its instructors meet me physically wherever I am, at home and in  whatever condition I am at present. It delivers the program, support and feedback  that it takes to have me feeling and moving better in my body. What impresses me  the most is the quality and consistency among a quite diverse set of coaches and  classes in staying true to the core values that make the program so effective."

I hope this review helps distinguish The MOB from the gazillion choices of gyms,  personal trainers and online fitness regimens. The MOB is my supportive, consistent  reminder that my life-long health and fitness are within my power - with the help of a  team of dedicated, experienced coach-trainers, guiding and challenging my mobility,  strength, balance, and endurance. The sessions are a convenient 30 minutes and the  classes are kept small, ensuring individual feedback and encouragement. It begins  with a commitment to yourself to just show up, and keep showing up. The MOB will  take care of you from there.

“I am so pleased Alia Bisat launched The MOB. She’s assembled a wide choice of  classes to take each week day. Some focus on movement and agility. Others  strengthen body parts; hips, back, calves, etc. The group of MOB coaches, each with  his or her own style, are talented, sensitive and mindful that we are all no longer  millennials. Alia oversees The MOB’s operation, making sure it runs smoothly and  thankfully still teaching a number of classes, thereby allowing me to continue training  with her as I have for more than the past 5 years.

The 30-minute Zoom sessions really work for me, energizing my body and  invigorating my mind. So glad to have met Alia and now become a Mobster.”

“I was in a workout rut and had been searching for something enjoyable and beneficial when a friend mentioned the MOB program to me. I decided to request a consultation and give it a try. I am so glad I did! It is exactly what I needed.  The program is fun yet challenging and there is always variety. I love the small group format as I feel as though I am in a personal training class. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and patient and always willing to answer questions and tailor the exercises to my needs. The program keeps me accountable which is something I was missing. And, I already feel more confident and stronger, it’s so empowering to feel these changes. I can't say it enough - so happy to be a part of your program.”

“I was so happy joining the Mob for the whole month of February.. That was the first time I’m exposed to such effective exercises & movements.

After each session, my whole body is «dismantled» positively with a very relaxing feeling.. Unfortunately, living in Beirut -Lebanon, & due to many internet connection problems & several cuts of the sessions, it was difficult for me to continue..  Recommending strongly the Mob, I wish for them all the success & progress ..”

Having seen my husband Andy so enjoy his relationship with Alia over the years I was happy to join him when Alia launched The MOB. Alia and the instructors she has chosen are knowledgeable, pleasant, and provide exercise routines that are easy to follow. I can already feel that I am benefiting from joining.

This practice changed my life in the best of ways. Daily activities no longer feel like chores. Simple things such as squatting down to turn the coffee grinder on are easier.  JOIN!!!!

“It’s been several months since the mob transitioned into its new iteration,  and I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful thing you have created.  I was afraid the classes wouldn’t have enough of an individual approach, but so far  The Mob exceeded all my expectations.

All the coaches have been amazing! I’ve been learning so much, and growing in many areas. I was complemented today on being so strong, and I was just blown away.  So thank you so much for telling me all those years ago that I needed to get stronger.  It’s been a hell of a journey!”

“Not too long ago, I was at a friend's house and the seating situation was a little crowded so I just sat on the floor with some of the kids. Didn't give it a thought. Until . . . I tried to get up and found myself falling all over and a little embarrassed by my lack of control! It was laughable at the time, but on the ride home I told myself, "I'm not ready to be in this condition."

Soon afterward a newsletter from Alia arrived introducing The MOB for those like me -- people who, for whatever reason, forgot to put strength and mobility as a priority in life. Admittedly, I was intimidated about performing in front of others. After my laughable stunt, my self-esteem came up lacking. Feeling vulnerable is always tough. I confessed to Alia and she was so encouraging. Lots of people find themselves in exactly this same situation. The real joy is doing something about it when you have the opportunity. It's never too late.

I'm feeling so much better- my creativity has blossomed, I'm more aware of my eating and sleeping habits, and I've rearranged my living environment and closets to give me a new vibe. I've even gotten a new hairstyle. I haven't had a kickstart like this in years and it feels GREAT! If I could convince even one person to take the plunge and commit to this series, I'd be so happy. Everyone deserves to feel like this - no matter what stage of life you are in. Just go for it.”

“I was reluctant to join The MOB due to years of inactivity. Signing up for the The MOB allowed me to overcome my fear of starting something new and unfamiliar. I got into a habit of exercising at least once a week, and learned the basic strength movements. I used the opportunity to attend other classes offered by The MOB, and got to know other coaches. After a few weeks, I realized that I could incorporate physical activity into my everyday life in a way that is supportive, challenging, and rewarding.”
